Over the last few years, we have been living in very turbulent times, as we deal with the effects of the war in Ukraine, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the latest economic crisis. Families up and down the country struggle each day, whether it is financially, physically or mentally, and we seem to be under increasing modern-day pressures. It is extremely difficult for parents to navigate working life whilst bringing up children, for example. Retired people may be juggling caring for older parents who are not able to look after themselves whilst trying to make the most of their twilight years. Life can be tough, and never has this been more apparent.
The rise in mental health problems, stress and anxiety, especially amongst the younger generations, means it is essential to take time for ourselves to relax, unwind, and put our health first. Getting the work/life balance right is tricky, and nobody can say they have the perfect solution, but there are steps you can take today to address it.
Meditation is one of my favourite ways to find meaning and healing in your everyday life. Free yourself from the emotional or mental chains of your daily existence to enable you to achieve what you really want to do and put things into perspective. Regular meditation, whether undertaken at the start or end of the day, can be an extremely powerful tool. By connecting to your own light and your own heaven, it is easier to leave this earth behind and dive into the dimensions of your higher self, in order to receive guidance on your life’s journey.
Mindfulness is the practice of being in the moment and appreciating the things around you. By stopping for a moment to soak in the sights, smells and sounds, you will gain a much better understanding of your place on earth. Meditation enables you to be more aware and focus on the here and now, so you can go out and fulfil your goals. It is easy to get bogged down by ‘stuff’ – meditation helps you to bring alignment into your life, ensuring much-needed clarity.
I always advise my clients to create a calm, light-filled space in which to practise meditation. This enables you to connect with your own light of origin and communicate with the spiritual world more easily. If you can find time to meditate as a natural part of your daily routine, you will be able to find the answers you are looking for and tackle any challenges with ease.
If you are interested, I have meditations available on my YouTube channel, or alternatively you can join me online or in person at the Starlight Center. The full meditation programme can be found on my website, and it is completely free of charge to take part. I encourage everyone to give it a try and experience the benefits of spiritual practice for themselves. Booking is not required, but please be aware that we start on time, so it is always best to arrive 10 minutes before the meditation is due to start.
I hope to see you at our next session! As always, if you have any questions, please drop me a line.
